Gunslingers
 
This painting depicts a Lockheed F-104C Starfighter, nicknamed "Really George" flown by Col. George Laven Jr., the Wing Commander of the 479th TFW, George AFB, California, and a second plane from the 436 TFS while at a 1959 gunnery meet at Nellis AFB. They are preparing to fly a guns only training mission while the banner tow aircraft, a B-57E from the 3rd Tow Target Squadron, also from George AFB takes off.
