In 1946, the Parker Pen Co. purchased this factory fresh Beech D18-S to use as a corporate business aircraft. Emblazoned with the "Parker 51" design in black and gold, the aircraft logged more than 200,000 miles as an effective advertisement tool for the company's best selling pen the "Parker 51," until its retirement in 1954.
