I saw this beautifully restored Ryan PT-22 "Recruit " at the Diamond Point Fly In near Sequim, Wash. I'm just a sucker for polished aluminum and all that chrome yellow doped fabric. I can still hear the "poppity poppity "sound of that little Kinner radial engine with all of its wonderful detail. 
 
Awarded 1st place in the "military" category at the 2015 American Society of Aviation Artists exhibition.
