This Grumman G-21 Goose was operated by Ellis Airlines from the late 1940s until Ellis merged with Alaska Coastal. The bright green and orange paint job with its distinctive goose/sunset trim made the aircraft easier to spot against Alaska's rugged terrain in the event of a forced landing.
