Tennessee Jugs

These Republic F-47D Thunderbolts were operated by the 155th FG, 118th FG of the Tennessee Air National Guard, from Berry Field, Nashville during the late 1940s. Less common in Air Guard units than the more glamorous F-51s, the red scallops and stripes gave these "Jugs" a very classy look.
